Andrew is a Colorado native, born and raised in Fort Collins. He learned the meaning of hard work and dedication while running his family’s commercial cleaning company as a teenager. Andrew built a career in hospitality management starting in housekeeping. There he quickly climbed the ladder, receiving an award for outstanding leadership in his first quarter. Andrew’s hospitality career culminated in the opening of a four star boutique hotel. Seeking a better work / life balance, Andrew joined Reliable Cleaning in January of 2019. In his free time Andrew hikes and bikes the trails with his partner and foster son. Andrew is a nature enthusiast who enjoys being outdoors as much as possible. Gardening is one of Andrew’s many passions. He grows much of the food he eats and turns that produce into delicious family meals nightly. When not spending time in nature, you can find Andrew relaxing, painting, or reading with a cup of tea.
We hire only dependable, reliable, trustworthy employees who pass nationwide background checks, in-depth reference calls and a detailed written application and lengthy interview. Employees are trained for a minimum of three weeks, but can take six months, or more, to be fully trained and to be eligible for a supervisory position. Training curriculum is based on a nationally recognized, certified program called Core Cleaning. Years of experience from employees, national and international conventions, workshops, professional residential and commercial cleaning organizations, cleaning and business experts round out our training curriculum. Ongoing education for employees is provided in cleaning products (mostly eco friendly, see our cleaning products information), building materials/surfaces, equipment usage and maintenance, safety, and customer services. Employees are bonded, and covered under our workers’ compensation, and $1 M liability insurance policy.
No. We try to keep at least one consistent cleaner who knows your home assigned to your house. We are a medium sized company and have three teams of two to three technicians. Occasionally we will need to increase or decrease the size of your team. Be aware that a team of two takes longer than a team of three, and a team of three is faster than a team of two. Your house gets the same amount of labor time, at the same price, whether or not you have a two-person or a three-person team.
No. You stay with us on your terms.
Our preference is to use eco-friendly products. This is all around better for kids, pets, everyone’s health, and the environment. We spend considerable time researching and testing product that are effective and green. We do, however understand that sometimes there is a need for something with a little more oomph, so we do have some choices for more heavy duty cleaning if the need arises. We are willing to use your products with the understanding that we reserve the right to decline if the product is too caustic (like ammonia). Please understand that our crew members are trained with our cleaning products, but if you prefer for them to use your products they will try it out and evaluate what works best for you, your house and for us. No. In fact, our teams prefer to use Reliable Cleaning’s equipment, tools and cleaning products because they have many hours of training and experience with them. You can rest assured the products and equipment are safe, efficient, and regularly cleaned and maintained.
We will choose a time together when we complete your bid. A computer generated reminder will be sent to you the day before your appointment. We provide an arrival time window of 25 minutes before or after your scheduled arrival time. In some instances, we can provide a more accurate estimate.
Contact the office as soon as possible. We do not like charging cancellation fees.
We reserve the right to charge $50 if the cancellation is made less than 2 FULL business days, 48 hours before the day of the appointment. Example: If your appointment is scheduled for a Monday, Reliable Cleaning needs to know by no later than 4:00PM Wednesday that you need a change.
We customize cleanings to provide only what you need or to fit your budget. We do not charge flat rates. We believe it is fairer to charge by the amount of time, cleaning and if we don’t need as much time as we estimated we will not charge you for any extra time. Ask about our discounts for more frequent cleanings, locations and time/day flexibility!
No. We like it if you’re home the first cleaning for at least the ending part so you can walk through and make sure you are satisfied with the cleaning, to answer the technicians questions and to point out anything else about your house that is unusual or that has special instructions. If you can be home at the beginning, especially the first time, that’s even better! Sometimes discounts are available to people who are flexible with arrivals.
We recommend that you give Reliable Cleaning your garage/house or lockbox code. Reliable Cleaning will take keys if your house doesn’t have a lockbox or a code.
You know your pets and their habits, if they will be relaxed with our presence then crating is not necessary. We like to know their names because it helps to calm them when we talk with them. If you want, we can give them a treat, or let them out in a secure area. We can let them back in, too. Caution: We will not service a house if a dog seems too aggressive, dangerous, or threatening. In this event, a lock out fee will be charged. Please be mindful of your cleaning day and have your pets in a safe place.
We are flexible about how you pay as long as we have a plan and know what to expect. Reliable Cleaning requires payment at time of service or within 48 hour of being invoiced unless other arrangements have been made prior to service. When you secure your appointment we will get your credit card to keep on file which you can use to pay with, or you can pay the secure online invoice you will receive after the cleaning, or pay by check, or cash, at the time of cleaning.
Tipping is not expected, but is greatly appreciated.
We work with a grout expert who we will happily refer you to. If grout is not sealed, too old, or in poor condition we will not be able to get it back to looking new, even with our spectacular OOMPH scrubbing
